ESD Conductive Embossed Carrier Tape for SMD Electronic Components
The ESD Conductive Embossed Carrier Tape is designed for the safe packaging, storage and transportation of surface-mount electronic components.
The tape is manufactured with regularly arranged embossed pockets that hold individual electronic components in a stable position during handling and transportation. Precision sprocket holes along both sides of the tape allow accurate feeding through automated pick-and-place and electronic component assembly equipment.
A transparent cover tape can be applied over the pockets to help retain the components and provide additional protection against dust, movement and accidental loss. The carrier tape can be supplied in conductive or antistatic material according to the required ESD protection level and application environment.
The tape is suitable for packaging resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs, LEDs, connectors, sensors and other SMD components. Pocket dimensions, tape width, pitch, thickness, reel size and cover tape specifications can be customized according to the component design and customer requirements.
