The ESD Antistatic Cover Tape is designed to seal embossed carrier tape and help secure electronic components inside the pockets during storage, transportation and automated assembly.
The transparent film allows visual inspection of the packaged components while helping reduce component movement, dust contamination and accidental loss. It can be used together with conductive or antistatic carrier tape for packaging SMD components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, LEDs, ICs and sensors.
The cover tape can be supplied in different widths, thicknesses, adhesive strengths and roll lengths. Customized specifications are available according to the carrier tape size, pocket design and customer packaging requirements.
